How to Buy Decentr (DEC)

Step 1 – Signup to Kraken

In the beginning you'll need to buy units of the bigger coins. Exchanges usually accept either Ethereum (ETH) or Bitcoin (BTC) in exchange for alternative Coins. Follow the Link below for registration and getting Bitcoin or Ethereum.

Step 2 – Transfer Your ETH (Ethereum) or BTC (Bitcoin) to an Crypto Exchange

Make sure you've chosen the exact coin you would like to deposit.

Step 3 – Find Decentr (DEC)

Once your deposit has been approved, you'll now have access to your finances and you can launch purchasing and trading. To purchase Decentr (DEC) on Binance, you'll want to hover over the tab which is called “Exchange” and after that click on “Basic”.

In order to discover Decentr (DEC), you will need to insert the short name of the asset (DEC) into the search-box, which is highlighted in the image. Make sure you have choosen the right pairing, we've highlighted this also. Click on “DEC/BTC” to advance.

Step 4 – Buying Decentr (DEC)

After you've located Decentr (DEC), you will be given a Price Chart (in the Center of the image) and some Order Books (on the Left of the image). And now we are making our own Limit Order.

The ”Price” field will be filled automatically with the most latest price Decentr (DEC) was traded for. This can be changed to your desired rate. The ”Amount” field is the amount of DEC you wish to buy. The field with the “Total” tag is the aggregated price in Bitcoin that you will pay for the whole amount of DEC.

When you are glad, make a mouse click on “Buy DEC”. Your order will be filled as soon as a Vender trades their DEC for the price you gave.

Step 5 – Withdraw Decentr (DEC)

Unless you're regularly trading, never keep your crypto coins on an Crypto Exchange for an extensive time period. In order to withdraw your Decentr (DEC), hover over the tab called “Funds” and mouse click on “Withdraw”. Decentr (DEC) can be safely stored using a Wallet, for instance MyEtherWallet.
